The Iconic La Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias

This part of the city was once a warehouse and dump district. The city decided to build a series of architectural buildings to enhance the study of science, art, nature and music. Designed by the same architect who did the Oculus in downtown NY. It is a serene space, all white against a blue, blue sky and the water clear and also blue. Meditative.

The building behind me is a grand opera house and school of music. Placido Domingo is the Director. What a way to see this on a bike.
