Reid standing at the top of a very narrow street in the old quarter. Gives you an idea of how small these streets are. Like stepping back in time. Because these homes were built without modern amenities, the have problems with mold due to humidity, and a lack of modernization. Too expensive to update and families that pass the homes generationally don’t have to the money needed for updating. What a beautiful area to see.
The 2nd pic is of two churches, one for nuns and the other for priests. Rome did not like the two sexes so close, solution build a tiny narrow house between the two. Seriously look close at the windows and doors. The priests lived there. Just a thought better to separate nuns from priests than little boys. Just saying…..
