We arrived in the early morning to the beautiful port city, gateway to Andalusia part of Spain. The city known for its Moorish history and the capital of Costa del Sol. And the birthplace of Picasso!
But this was a day to be spent visiting the ancient city and gardens of Alhambra. More about this later.
Well the best plans, had a private car and tour of Alhambra which is in Granada. Its a 1 1/2 hours drive from Malaga. We were put together with 2 other couples from the cruise. So far so good. Right? Our driver comes late, in small mini van, speaks very little English, and proceeds to pick up his girlfriend. We had to be on Granada at a certain time to meet our guide. They are very strict with the time to enter Alhambra. To make matters worse one woman had a wicked couch, sneezing and hacking allover this small mini van. I mean if u are sick cancel, we have 20 more days of touring. We washed our hands constantly. Somethings are just out of your control even with all our planning!

So sorry that happenened ! When the best plans are laid things can still be f-cked up ! I hope you enjoyed the gardens and maybe you should be carrying that gel that you rub on hands to prevent touching germs. I know you will both be fine. Take in all of the beauty and take pics. Would love to check out these cities ! Someday !!
