We last left off with a fortress, until the 13th century when Nasid emir Mohammad ben Al Ahmet of Granada, try saying this fast, decided to build a spectacular Moorish palace. This was for his family and to rule. Moorish design is all about what is inside, so the buildings are rather plan outside, but wait till u see the dazzle that is to come. Another sultan followed Nasid and continued to add to Alhambra.
