In the 1400’s the king and queen of D Spain take over Alhambra as their summer palace. Ferdinand and Isabella do some design upgrades from Moorish to a romantic, renaissance style matching the time. Again Moorish is all about what’s inside and honoring the elements of nature especially water. The king and queen want everyone to know their status so ornamental metals, swirls, decorative elements on the outside. This pic is their palace which is a museum of art, history of Alhambra.
