

The museum had a wonderful gallery all about how they restore art and transfer frescoes. The fresco you see on the walls, the museum restorers have to do a multi layered approach for the displays. And not to destroy art that is 100’s of years old. Considering the age the details and colors are still vibrant, even the gold leafing remains.
The jars are some of the original pigments used to make paints and stains. Maybe in my next life I can be an art restorer.
