May 14th We have landed. Florence.

We hit the port of Livorno which is almost 2 hours from Florence. Very early day trying to squeeze in as much as possible. 6!1/2 hours is very limiting on how much you can see, even with plans in place. We are going to try our best, bobbing and weaving thru the crowd.

The tower of the Duomo the center of the city. The last time I was here, 14 years ago visiting Nicole when she studied here. Always a special place for us.
