Amalfi the Town.

As soon as you get off the tender where all the ferries come into the town of Amalfi unfolds. Streets filled with shops, restaurants line both sides and stop as the cliffs and apartment buildings meet. The Duomo is big in the middle of another plaza. This is town designed for tourists including Italians looking for a quick get away. There is a famous hiking trail that goes up the cliffs all the way up to the top. You see plenty of peoples from all over the world walking thru town to get to the beginning of the trail.
