This might be the best story of our vacation. It’s lunchtime in Rome with an endless amount of choices. OK so the pizza is not NY, but everything else is pretty terrific.
Reid goes on Yelp and finds a really good restaurant for a nice lunch. Since this is our first day off the ship and on our own, we have no limitations. Google maps in, walk to this wonderful place. Well….. we end in what looks like an old luncheonette, 3 small booths, horrible kitchen in back, candy counter and cigs. Get the pic! I have not eaten so far and on a time schedule for an afternoon tour. Might have been the worst meal in a long time. Packets of olive oil in Rome.
In walks these 2 women for lunch. I know I have been a really good girl not being snarky. But how could I resist. Horrible lunch but a visual that will last a long time. BTW Reid’s original restaurant was around the corner.
