April 21 At Sea

Easter Sunday and we are cruising the day away. Tomorrow we arrive in Bordeaux, France.

So today is for reading, participating in ship activities and of course eating. I usually play BINGO but the pot is low, just the beginning of cruise. I shall wait till the money builds and then I can get pissed when I don’t win. I mean I NEVER win!!!! But I am compelled to try.

The 7 deadly sins, today is Gluttony, pure and simple. The above pics are the Special Easter brunch. And this is just a portion of what u can stuff your face with. Just in case you have a morsel of space left in your stomach, lunch is served and tea time. May I state this is the least favorite part of cruising for me. I do enjoy good food but very small portions, non-gmo, really bird food. Nuts, fruit, veggies, protein. I do not want to repeat the mistakes I gave made in the past, overindulging and suffering the consequences. The older I am the harder it is to stay lean. So I will post for our enjoyment and I will control my urges. Besides the very best French wine is coming tomorrow, will indulge at chateaus I may never get to again,
